WIWinlink digital net procedures

A Winlink digital net is in many ways very similar to a standard net on phone or CW. There are some differences though that will come into play due to the differences in the communication medium used.

General net procedures
Timestamps in email will be official time.
NCS
Winlink liaison station duties
Once checked in, the liaison station should send a message back to net control confirming check ins / check outs. The liaison station should identify the net control station.
Winlink net control duties
Follow normal ICS and Net control protocols utilizing Winlink
Secondary information
If needed, net control / liaison will send additional requested information from the net.
Checking in and out
When Checking into the net, send a Winlink message to active net control WIWINLINK net control list and Digital ASEC KB9MMC-5 and net manager KB9MMA.
Put in field CC: kb9mmc-5@winlink.org;kb9mma-5@winlink.org
(Please note that the ; or , delimiter may be different check your email software for details)
In message please state check-in / checkout or both in subject and also state reply Winlink address.
Example message:
