Racine County Winlink2k tactical assignments

The purpose of the Racine County Winlink 2000 network is to provide communications between hams and served agencies throughout the county by promoting, training, and mentoring hams on utilizing digital technology allows hams to pass communication traffic between themselves and Served agencies in times of crisis better and faster than before. The first step in this process began with the formation of the RCARES digital group. The group is charged with training and deployment of the 1200 and 9600 baud systems to access to the ARES Winlink 2000 system and other digital technologies.
Participation in the RCARES digital group is open to all those who have an interest to learn, and be a member of ARES. The purchasing of hardware or setting up anything is strictly optional.
