RCARES APRS event settings

APRS settings for special events. 144.390 simplex is usually utilized.
Digi beacon settings.
Setup WIDE1,WIDE2,WIDE3,Relay.
Aid stations with digipeaters use aid icon, and beacon every 15 min.
Tracker
Wide2-2,relay.
Update interval fixed station 15 min.
Update interval mobile station 60 sec.
You must be running your TNC in KISS mode to enable the digipeater in UI-View32 or using AGW packet engine.
In UI View for digipeater
Go to Setup -> Digipeater Setup
Enable Digi is checked
UI Only is checked
Alias substitution is checked
WIDEn-n is not checked
TRACEn-n is not checked
Alias(es) has YOURCALLSIGN-4,WIDE,WIDE1-2,WIDE2-2,WIDE3-2,RELAY
Sub Alias has YOURCALLSIGN-4
Dupe secs = 30
Digi routes has 1=1 (hit enter key) Repeat for any ports putting same port number as the one before it.
Click on OK and you're done.
Restart program For Client don't use base callsign do avoid duplication, or other SID-s in RCARES plan, especially using AGW. This is a technical limitation when running several programs through a TNC management API program. You will have problems.
It is also highly recommended, to please make sure you are in accordance with other packet settings.
