When all else fails...
...Amateur Radio!
What would you do if all lines of communications suddenly stopped?
Disaster can strike anywhere. Are you prepared?
Ham Radio Operators have been assisting local, state and federal agencies during times of disaster for almost 100 years.
But it's not all just work. Imagine the ability to talk directly through a satellite and transmit your voice to the other side of the world, or talking to someone in Australia with a transmitter that uses less power than a light bulb.
This is Ham Radio.
Ham Radio Operators are ordinary citizens, including some of your neighbors or co-workers and people in more than 100 countries. Ham Radio's purpose is to spread goodwill around the world through radio, provide volunteer emergency communications in disasters, and maintain a pool of experienced and knowledgeable radio operators and electronics enthusiasts.
