The Milwaukee Radio Amateurs Club (MRAC) operates the W9RH station and is one of the oldest ham radio organizations in the country, founded in 1917 and affiliated with the ARRL in 1919. The MRAC is one of only 14 FCC certified Volunteer Examiner Coordinators in the country.
The MRAC operates the W9RH/R repeater on 145.39 MHz with an input frequency of 144.79 MHz. The repeater requires a CTCSS of 127.3 Hz.
The MRAC will be sponsoring a special event to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of their founding. This will take place August 4-5, 2007. Members of the club will be operating on as many bands as possible for the whole weekend. Current planned frequencies are: 28.470, 14.270, 7.260, and 144.240. There will be a special QSL card available.
