All hams are invited to participate.

Every 4th Friday 7:30 PM.

Meet in the parking lot West end of Regency Mall (Hwy 31 and 11)

Frequency will be given at the parking lot (2 Meter). Often times there will be more than one hidden transmitter.

The transmitter must be located within the boundaries of:

  • Illinois-Wisconsin state line
  • Racine-Milwaukee county line
  • Hwy 45
  • Lake Michigan

Hunt is over at 9:00 PM sharp.

All participant meet at a restaurant (usually pizza) after the hunt that is chosen by the presiding hidden fox team.

A card or paper is distributed to each team when they find the first transmitter. The winner is also on 147.270 KR9RK repeater at the end of the hunt.

If you must leave the hunt before it is over, please call the fox team on 147.270 and let them know.

This is a fun event.

There is a lot of camaraderie after the hunt at the restaurant.

The foxes are KB9MMA, KC9EOW.

This is also considered an ARES training exercise.
