April 20th 2006 siren test

The National Weather Service does not conduct outdoor siren tests. Nor do they activate tornado sirens. They are not allowed to. That is up to local communities to handle. On April 20, 2006, The Racine County sirens were tested with the aid of local Amateur radio operators.
